 Hello everyone, I am here to introduce you a very handy and helpful platform: Edmodo! 



Edmodo is an online classroom platform that allows teachers and students interact online, maintain the learning process and make the scheduling for classes. Teachers can upload materials like documents, PowerPoint presentations, videos, images and students can download and work on them. Besides, teachers can make announcements, create posts, assign homeworks, exams and quizzes and grade these. Both students and teachers can make comments on the posts thus an interaction during learning process happens.


 Wishing to make you more familiar to the platform, I want to share some pictures of my Edmodo teacher account with you:


You can post announcements and reminders on Edmodo.


You can assign your students some exams, homeworks and quizzes on Edmodo. In order to create an assignment go to the page of your class. Then click on ''create'' and choose what to assign and determine a deadline for your assignment. After students' submissions are finished, you can grade their assignments.


As you can see above I created a class and named it 11-J. Edmodo is very easy to get accustomd to and use. Edmodo guides you on every step such as how to create an account and how to create a class, posting an announcement, etc. You can see and make edits on your posts, uploaded folders, members of your class, etc.

Storybird: Digital Book

 Hello everyone today we will look at Storybird which is a Digital Book platform. Storybird is an online social platform for storytelling. Students act as authors, pairing their words with  licensed art. Students can compose text, but they can't upload their own art; they must use Storybird's  collection in their picture books and illustrated poems. There's a 7-day free trial, but after that most features will ask for a premium account both for teachers and students. Teachers can also set up a paid classroom account that supports a number of students based on how much they pay. After signing up or logging in with teacher-provided credentials, students can read published stories or create their own. They can repost favorite stories to their own Storybird account feeds, "heart'' stories they like, and comment on them.  To get started, students choose which format they want, then browse Storybird's art collection to find illustrations that would be harmonious

 Hello everyone, I will introduce you Voki, which is a platform on which you can practice languages by creating an avatar. Voki  is an educational tool  that can be  used to  enhance instruction, engagement, and  understanding of  lesson.  Voki  can be  used in  class (for student work), as an animated presentation tool, for assignments, and as a virtually monitored discussion forum  enabling users to create their own character of speech. You can both type your text and let Voki pronounce it for you or you can record your voice and upload it.  You can customize  Voki  characters to look like historical figures, cartoons, animals and even you! Why to use Voki? It enables you create avatars. It brings comfort to students who feel anxious while speaking. It enhances the speaking thus improves speaking skills.
