Pear Deck: Enrich Your Presentations!

 

Hi everyone, I am here to introduce you the Peardeck. Peardeck is a tool that allows us make add-ons to our slides and make our students more active via letting them interact over the slides!






What is Pear Deck?

Pear Deck is an interactive presentation gadget utilized to actively include students in individual and social learning. Teachers create slides using their Google Drive account. Students log into the presentation with their access codes and interact with questions while teachers can monitor student and whole-class progress. For creating interactive learning setting, Pear Deck would be helpful.

Why to use Pear Deck?

Pear Deck allows you enrich your presentations.

It engages students in the learning process by letting them type or draw their answers to the questions.

It also lets you create multiple choice questions and students can drag dots to the right answer.


How does Pear Deck work?

  1. You create a Pear Deck account and your premiım trial for 1 month starts.
  2. You prepare a presentation on Google Slides or PowerPoint Online and via add-ons provided by Pear Deck, you enrich your presentation.
  3. You can add questions and students can answer them typing, drawing or dragging icons.
  4. They can also choose from multiple choices.
  5. Start your live lesson.
  6. Now, you can enjoy your presentation with your students!

Storybird: Digital Book

 Hello everyone today we will look at Storybird which is a Digital Book platform. Storybird is an online social platform for storytelling. Students act as authors, pairing their words with  licensed art. Students can compose text, but they can't upload their own art; they must use Storybird's  collection in their picture books and illustrated poems. There's a 7-day free trial, but after that most features will ask for a premium account both for teachers and students. Teachers can also set up a paid classroom account that supports a number of students based on how much they pay. After signing up or logging in with teacher-provided credentials, students can read published stories or create their own. They can repost favorite stories to their own Storybird account feeds, "heart'' stories they like, and comment on them.  To get started, students choose which format they want, then browse Storybird's art collection to find illustrations that would be harmonious

Animoto

 Hello everyone, I am here to introduce you Animoto, an animation platform. Animoto is an online, cloud-based video creation platform. It can be used to create videos from video content and photos. You don't need to worry about formats of  files as Animoto does all the conversion work for you.  Animoto is super simple to use, from creating presentation slideshows with audio to making videos with soundtracks. The platform includes templates to make it even more user-friendly.  Animoto also makes sharing very simple, ideal for teachers who want to integrate videos in teaching platforms such as  Google Classroom, Edmodo   and others.  Since the video is created online, sharing is as simple as copying a link. This means that a video can be made on many devices, unlike traditional video-editing tools that require a lot of processing power on the part of the device being used.
